Anidri Eco-cottages
near Paleochora, Crete
Location
Anidri Eco-cottages are in the small hamlet of Anidri about 5km
east of the town of Paleochora (also written Paleohora or
Palaiohora) on the southwest coast of Crete.
By Air:
Crete has two main airports, Chania (also called Hania, 75km
away) and Heraklion (also called Iraklion). There are
regular buses connecting Heraklion and Chania. There are also
year-round flights via Athens.
By Boat:
There is a overnight sailing every evening from Athens (Piraeus
port, connected by regular E96 bus with the airport) to
Chania-Souda port. There are also occasional sailings from Gythion
(Peloponnese) to Kastelli, also called Kissamos (30 km).
From the Airport/Port
From Chania it is a 2.5 hour drive via Kandanos and Paleochora; or
a 3-hour bus ride to Paleochora and a 5km taxi ride / hotel
shuttle. You can also reach Paleochora by ferry from Sfakia / Ayia
Roumeli. But we strongly advise hiring a car, and recommend

of the airports.
