Save to favouritesPrintMailApartment La LonjaOur first visit to Palma was an off-season sojourn... a few mild November days where we explored the city sans crowds and felt like real residents. It helped, of course, that we were staying in Apartment La Lonja, a modern flat in the historical quarter. La Lonja has been decorated with style: original features such as the chequered tiles, large old wooden shutters and doors, have been retained, while the [r:ES022:interiors] have been updated with simple Scandinavian furnishings, framed black and white photos (the owner is a photographer), smart light fittings and mod cons, including a DVD that came in handy on the one evening when it did chuck down with rain. We were one minute walk from the nearest restaurant/café/shop, 2 minutes walk from the Palma Marina and the Paseo Maritimo (seafront road), 5 minutes from the La Seu, Palma's grand Cathedral and 10 minutes from the beach. And not far from considering a permanent move.
