  • “The Salta region should be on your Argentinian itinerary and if you plan to stay in Salta city, think again. I made Bo hotel encanto my starting point for exploring the region, and I highly recommend you to do the same. Roxana and Tony have hospitality written all over them and they do their utmost to make your stay wonderful and memorable. The hotel is a gem, beautifully decorated and the lush garden full of flowers is a feast for the eye. A feast for your palate - and eyes - are the delicious meals they serve three times a day along with champagne and wine. I stayed five nights at Bo hotel encanoto, enjoying a package including airport pick-up, full board, two private guided excursions to Cachi and Cafayate and another optional activity (I chose horse riding). The package is of great value and I can only recommend you to enjoy and see for yourself - you will not be disappointed!”

  • “We have just spent 6 nights at Hotel Bo – faultless! This is the 13th place we have stayed at using i-escape and we have never been disappointed in our choices, but this has to be the best in terms of hosts, accommodation and food. Roxanna and Tony were exceptional hosts and fabulous chefs. Nothing was too much trouble and their wealth of information about the locality and culture was vast. Everywhere you looked in this boutique hotel, there was something special in the detail - in our beautiful and large garden room / grounds/service- down to a pretty petal on your dinner plate! As for the area – the guide book is correct – staggeringly beautiful. Tony took us on one day trip to Cachi, driving us to places we would never have discovered on our own and we then benefitted from his guidance when we hired a car and spent two long days travelling north – to Pumarmarca and the Salinas Grande (stunning) and then south, through the surreal Quebrade de las Felchas to Cafayate. After the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires this was truly paradise. Many thanks i-escape, but more importantly, MANY THANKS Tony and Roxanna for making this a holiday to remember.”

  • “Tony and Roxanne make this a very special place. Nothing is too much trouble for them: meeting flights, arranging car hire, lifts here and there, advice on everything and excellent company. Why stay here as it's not an obvious tourist destination? Lovely guest house in a charming pueblo in attractive countryside. Bicycles available for local exploration if you want to get further than by walking. Good food, a great place to relax and Salta is in easy distance if its wet or you don't want to stay there. Don't forget - no credit cards.”

Save to favouritesPrintMailBo Hotel de encantoBo Hotel de encanto & Spa is a fresh take on the boutique hotel. Owners Tony and Roxana have created a welcoming and stylish little world, cleverly converting their 1880 house with great flair and imagination. Colonial details like high ceilings and elegant windows have been preserved in 3 stunning [r:AR047:rooms], with brilliant colour combinations and Latin American art creating a refreshingly eclectic mix. Four more modern rooms lie in the sweeping landscaped gardens, with a small pool and sun terrace. All are beautifully designed and very comfortable. But Bo’s real charm is way they look after you - thoughtful professionalism in everything they do. While Roxana is cooking up feasts in the kitchen, Tony takes you horse riding in the nearby hills to explore local tobacco fincas, or on comfortable trips in his 4x4 to Cafayate and along the Calchaquí Valley, becoming your personal trilingual guide (French as well as English and Spanish) with really expert local knowledge. Forget perfunctory commercial tours or wrestling with a dictionary. It’s just like staying with very good friends who want you to love this area as much as they do. Have massages in the spa, spend a morning learning how to make perfect empanadas, and pass afternoons exploring the charming colonial town of Chicoana. A wonderful, relaxing way to see Salta province.
