Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Club Villa in local currency in cash or credit card (credit cards carry a commission of 4%).
    Credit cards accepted by Club Villa: Mastercard, Visa, American Express.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    For all cancellations, the initial 15% deposit is non-refundable. In addition, for any cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival: additional charge of 25% will be made to your credit card by i-escape on behalf of Club Villa. For any cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival: additional charge of 50% will be made to your credit card. In the event of premature departure full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.
    NB. During Christmas & New Year and August, cancellations made within 21 days of intended arrival will be charged 25%, within 14 days 50%, and within 7 days 100% of the total stay. This will be charged by i-escape on behalf of Club Villa.

Walking into Club Villa is like returning to an old friend's house. You enter to the sound of rippling water as gold fish swim in the small ponds of the leafy reception area. Frank, your host, is full of warmth and gracious hospitality and welcomes you with a delicious papaya and mango drink. Any frayed nerves from long-distance travel are quickly soothed; an air of peaceful serenity pervades, it's spotlessly clean and the staff are professional and attentive. You can relax by the pool, wander along the deserted beach or explore Sri Lanka’s southwest coast (Frank is a fount of local knowledge). But undoubtedly one of the highlights of Club Villa is the nightly candlelit supper, served beneath the stars after a freshly prepared cocktail. Listening to the tropical night sounds while eating delicious food at tables laid with crisp white tablecloths and a solitary candle is an unforgettable experience, however many times you try it.
