When to go?

Any time, although Spring (March to June) and Autumn (September and October) are the most pleasant. July and August can be very hot, although Dalt Murada's rooms are air-conditioned and the prices are usually cheaper. Winter time is ideal for a quick break with a better chance of warm sunshine than northern Europe, some fun nightlife and good shopping.

Save to favouritesPrintMailDalt MuradaJust yards from Palma's magnificent cathedral, Hotel Dalt Murada is tucked away in a peaceful alley. In medieval times it belonged to one of Mallorca's most important families. Later it became the residence of the Bestard de la Torre family who have spent the last few years transforming their home into an elegant yet friendly small hotel. Much of the original character has been retained: high beamed ceilings, old portraits and antique furniture (including some beautiful Mallorquin beds); while private Jacuzzis, satellite television and dedicated internet lines, bring the hotel into the 21st-century. There's a large leafy courtyard filled with lemon and orange trees, perfect for alfresco breakfasts, and a host of excellent restaurants and tapas bars within walking distance. Palma makes an ideal short break and Dalt Murada the perfect retreat for both romantics and families.
