Booking Policies
- Payment:
Guarantee deposit of 20% of total is charged in local currency by Cascada Travel (who operate the tours to EcoCamp) upon reservation.
Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Cascada Travel in local currency 30 days before arrival (for fixed-day departures) or 60 days before arrival (for private departures).
EcoCamp requires a faxed credit card authorisation and signature. You will either need to fill in and fax them an authorisation form, or use an intermediary site called Webpay.
You can also pay by PayPal, bank transfer or US$/Euro cheque. - Cancellation Fees:
For all cancellations, the initial 20% deposit is non-refundable. In addition, for any cancellations after paying the balance: the following charges will apply: Fixed-day departures: 30-23 days: additional 40% charged 22-14 days: additional 60% charged 13-0 days: full 80% balance charged Private departures: 60-45 days: additional 40% charged 44-31 days: additional 60% charged 30-0 days: full 80% balance charged The trips listed above are confirmed even if there is only 1 participant, but for other trips, Cascada reserves the right to cancel due to insufficient sign-up or logistical problems that may impede trip operations. In such a case you will be given full refund of the amounts paid to Cascada. Cascada will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip (i.e., nonrefundable air tickets, visa fees, equipment, medical expenses, etc.).
