El Angel Azul
La Paz, Baja California
Eating
Breakfast is the only regular meal offered at El Angel Azul.
A bowl of fresh guava, papaya and lime is followed by toast or
tortillas, jam, coffee and juice, then fruit with yoghurt, Swiss
muesli or eggs of the day (perhaps chilaquiles - eggs cooked
with tortilla strips, refried beans and cheese). It's served in the
courtyard under large sunshades from 8am to 10am, with the
sound of the fountain babbling in the background and the resident
cat, dog and pair of love birds wandering around your feet. When
the early morning cool starts to give way to searing heat,
you’ll see the back of breakfast and the beginning of another
scorcher. If you need to leave for an early flight or a day trip,
coffee is available at the bar from 7am.
No other meals are available at the B&B, but La Paz’s
promenade, the ‘Malecon’, is only a 10-minute walk away
and has plenty of tapas grills and restaurants for the
evening repast.
Features include:
- Bar
- Breakfast
