Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Guarantee deposit of 50% of total is charged in local currency by EME catedral hotel upon reservation for stays during Easter week and April Fair. At other times of year, this 50% deposit is due 22 days before arrival, and will be charged to your credit card by EME catedral hotel. For bookings made with Special Offers, the full payment is required on the day of the booking and this is non-refundable.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to EME catedral hotel in local currency 22 days before arrival for the dates mentioned above, and at the time of stay for the rest of the year.
    Credit cards accepted by EME catedral hotel: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners, Maestro
    EME catedral hotel requires a faxed credit card authorisation and signature.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    For stays booked for Easter week and April Fair: cancellations made between 45 and 22 days to prior to arrival will incur the loss of the 50% deposit; 21-15 days prior to arrival, an additional 25% of the total will be charged to your credit card by EME catedral hotel; less than 15 days, an additional 50% of the total will be charged to your credit card by EME catedral hotel. At other times of year, cancellations made more than 2 days before arrival date (until 12 midday): no charge. After this deadline the total of 1 night's stay will be retained by EME catedral hotel, and the rest refunded to your credit card. No shows will be charged the entire price of the stay as originally booked and confirmed.

Escapism, rest and well-being is the order of the day here, whether it's indulging yourself in the sumptuous spa or bedding down in one of the gorgeous [r:SP075:rooms]. Designed by renowned architect Juan Pedro Donaire, the hotel is spread between 14 traditional Sevillian houses, which sit around a patio courtyard with flowing fountains and an enchanting flower stall. This patio is the heart of the building, decorated with a large whitewashed wall latticed with undulating Islamic laceria inscriptions. Inside, Hannes Wettstein chairs rub shoulders with Parentesi furnishings and funky Jasper floor lamps, but the whole vibe is low-key and discreet rather than showy. A rooftop terrace with a translucent alabaster bar provides a heady location for cocktails and fabulous cityscape views; better still, there are 4 [i!places_to_stay_eating.php?hotel_key=1329!restaurants] to choose from (including the Michelin-starred Santo by Martín Berasategui), so you can stay in every night without getting menu-fatigue.
