Es Cucons
Santa Agnes de Corona, Ibiza
Press Reviews
Conde Nast Traveller (UK), July 2011
"A secluded, 15-bedroom hotel about 10 minutes' drive from the
beach on the east of the island, Es Cucons is family-run and very
friendly. Its Mediterranean food is a real selling point, and its
location makes it an excellent base for a walking hotel."
The Guardian, September 2010
"While the rest of the Med slips into an off-season slumber, Ibiza
goes out with a bang. The next fortnight sees a wave of "closing
parties", with superclubs such as Amnesia and Space bidding a
hedonistic farewell to the summer. If it all gets too much, head
inland to one of the island's hip agroturismos, where the island's
cognoscenti will be hanging out. Es Cucons is a laid-back finca
with 15 rooms in the west of the island."
The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, July 2008
"Terracotta tiles contrast with whitewashed walls, and four posters
are draped in billowing yellow and ducky pink muslin in this
17th-century country house. It's out of the way in the quiet
northeast, but the daily changing menu, and prettily rambling
grounds with large pool and daybeds make leaving a wrench
anyway."
The Sunday Times, June 2008
"Es Cucons is a beautiful rural hotel set amongst almond trees near
Santa Ines and is immeasurably peaceful. This summer, it's opening
a tastefully appointed spa, too."

“I loved the hotel: the renovation and interiors were exceedingly well done – a ‘finca fantasy’.
The food was excellent quality and delicious – we ate breakfast and lunch.
To stay there with a child (ours is 4-yrs old) was actually just like your opinion warned, so I’ll trust you in future! I felt uncomfortable with my exceedingly well behaved (honestly) child. Whilst the staff were charming and welcoming towards him/us, the vibe of the hotel made me feel as though we should tiptoe around and consequently we spent our time hiding in our (gorgeous) room or being ‘out-of-the-way’ in the restaurant (as far from other guests as practical including at a table I’d rather not sit at) and we didn’t use the pool because it was a quiet, sunbathe zone (did the ‘no inflatables’ sign mean no armbands?, etc).”
