Fumba Beach Lodge

Location
Fumba Beach Lodge is situated in southwest Zanzibar, within the Menai Bay Conservation Area. It's a 40 minute (25km) drive from Stone Town.

By Air:
Fly to Zanzibar (25km) in Stone Town. If you're coming from the UK, you'll probably fly via Nairobi or Dar-es-Salaam Airport (in Tanzania). Alternatively you can catch a hydrofoil to Zanzibar from Dar.

From the Airport
The hotel can arrange a private transfer – see Rates. Alternatively you can take a taxi, which will take approximately 40 minutes and cost around $50.

By Car:
Hire cars aren't very popular because of the bumpy roads, bad signposting and short distances involved, but work out well if you are a group of four or want complete independence. Sama Tours rent out Suzuki 4WD and Toyota Landcruisers.
