Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    Additional deposit of A$695.00 is charged by Gaia Retreat & Spa in local currency 4 weeks prior to your arrival.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Gaia Retreat & Spa at time of stay by credit card.

  • Cancellation Fees:
    Bookings may be transferred to another date within 12 months but not cancelled completely; if you do so you will incur the cost of the entire deposit (20% plus AU$695). In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.

Stylish and luxurious without being pretentious, it’s co-owned by Olivia Newton-John and her long-time friend Gregg Cave, now the manager, who bought and converted the property in 2005. And it’s one of the most relaxing retreats I’ve ever been to, with just 18 wooden [r:AU027:cabins] centred around a Samoan longhouse. There’s plenty of outdoor space in which to wander, and the property is strewn with jacaranda trees, hammocks, meditation benches and hand-carved Tibetan stone urns. You’ll feel comfortable here alone, or with a friend or partner, whether you want a couple of nights R&R or a more intensive [i!http://www.i-escape.com/hotel.php?section=booking&hotel_key=AU027!package]. Complementary activities range from tai chi classes to sound meditation, and the spa offers a huge range of holistic and pampering treatments from some of the best therapists in the area.
