Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    For mid and high season bookings only, an additional deposit equivalent to 1 night's stay is charged by Hotel Iturregi upon reservation (or the balance if only staying 1 night). Also for mid and high season bookings only, a further payment equivalent to 50% of the remaining stay is charged by Hotel Iturregi 7 days before arrival.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Hotel Iturregi at the time of stay by credit card.

  • Cancellation Fees:
    In the event of all cancellations, the initial deposit is fully non-refundable. In addition, all mid and high season cancellations will forfeit the second deposit, and all mid and high season bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival will also forfeit the third payment equivalent to 50% of the remaining stay. Low season bookings cancelled less than 2 days prior to arrival will forfeit a charge of 50% of the total stay, which will be charged to your credit card by Hotel Iturregi. All no-shows and early departures will incur the cost of the whole stay, as originally booked and confirmed through i-escape.com. This will be charged to your credit card by Hotel Iturregi.

It’s a very private place. You potter up the hill, turn onto a track, then wait for electric gates to swing open. When you arrive, you find an old Basque farmhouse reborn as an English country house. This is a total renovation, no expense spared, a house filled with beautiful things. It’s contemporary in design, yet traditional in spirit. Bedrooms are sublime, as are the staff. Everywhere you go, windows frame the view. There’s a lovely sitting room that opens onto a covered terrace where vast sofas wait. You’re in 20 acres of peace with gardens that roll off towards private woods. Climb some steps to one side and you find a gorgeous swimming pool with loungers under parasols and lavender in the flowerbeds. Back inside, the breakfast room opens onto a sun-trapping terrace, not a bad spot to start your day. Upstairs, 8 beautiful [rooms:SP089:rooms and suites] pamper you rotten. Some have sea views, others overlook the pool, and all have gorgeous bathrooms.
