“We had a fabulous, relaxing family vacation staying at La Bagatelle. Though we spent much of our time swimming at beaches associated with nearby resorts, we were delighted to return to our spacious, gorgeous and very private quarters in the late afternoons and evenings. The only stressful aspect of the trip was driving: the narrow, steep roads and deep drainage ruts made for some hairy moments. However when we did actually drive into a ditch, several men appeared immediately to help tow us out. Having a car allowed us to engage in many more activities than we would have otherwise. One highlight: the Bean-to-Bar tour (make your own chocolate bar) at Hotel Chocolate; loved their restaurant, Boucan, as well.”
