Unique Destinations
"With just a handful of guest rooms in a beautifully restored former ambassadorial residence, L'Ambassade is a jewel, with elegant understatement in its décor and fascinating artwork throughout. Originally built as a private home in 1942; two consecutive Ambassadors used this building as their private residence. The new owners, two sisters and a brother, fell in love with the house the moment they saw it. Everywhere you look you will find a detail that makes L’Ambassade a place full of charming surprises: Mirrors framed with painted tiles, original paintings, antique door knobs, sculptures made in bronze, ceramics, or wood, old photographs..."

  • “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L"Ambassade Petit Hotel in Santiago, Chile.
Our hosts anticipated our needs, and even though it was the off season, everything was top notch without being over the top. One of the most important aspects of this type of hotel is that the personal attention is sincere without forgoing professionalism. The Parolin Family has found the perfect balance.
I recommend their hotel to anyone as either a destination or just passing through Santiago and needing a day or two of self indulgence.
Their recommendations from running routes to restaurants were excellent. Majico Peru was especially nice and within walking distance. Another favorite was Baco”

  • “A chic and comfortable boutique hotel. Service and attention was outstanding. Located in a quiet and secure suburb, only a 10 minute taxi ride to the city centre.”

  • “Located in the peaceful, tree-lined neighbourhood of Providencia, L'Ambassade provides excellent service and good value-for-dollar. The staff was very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate our needs. Our room was clean and overlooked the pool with a small balcony. Breakfast was lovely. A loud barking dog was the only down- side (bring ear plugs). We enjoyed renting bikes and exploring the area on the extended bike paths. The parks are beautiful and it was no problem getting to the city centre even though the hotel is not that close to public transit - just walk, bike or take a taxi!”

  • “We had an special moment in L'Ambassade Petit Hotel during our honeymoon. Maria and Pia were very helpfull and kindness. They gave us good tips on sightseeing and restaurants. We loved our bedroom with garden view, balcony and a beautiful bedding. The area where the hotel is located is very quiet which gave us plenty of rest. In a big city like Santiago it was perfect to find this petit hotel in which we feel like we're unique and in our home.
We recommend to have a dinner in the hotel, Pia cooks very well!!!”
    Geane, Brazil (18.10.10)

  • “Not luxurious but comfortable and the home cooked dinner was delicious. Felt like a homestay (in a good way)”

Save to favouritesPrintMailL\'Ambassade Petit HotelIn one of the most fashionable districts of one of South America’s most metropolitan cities is a creamy house on a tree-lined street. Built in the 50s, its light-filled interiors are touched by classical references - an ornate marble fireplace, an elegant stone stair - and were renovated and revived in 2009 by an endearing young French trio who originate from Toulouse: Marie Josée, Pia and Adolfo. L’Ambassade is a family affair. Each of the 5 rooms, to the side or the rear, looks onto a piece of lush garden; the Double Deluxe has its own patio and the Pool Loft opens to the pool. This pool may not be large but it sure is pretty, flanked by vine-strewn pillars and a Grecian stone bench with a matching urn. [r:CL033:Bedrooms] are immaculate, menus are French/Chilean and the mood is warm, intimate and relaxed. Breakfast is served where and when you want it, in sunshine or in shade, at the dining table or under the pergola - and the pergola’s feathery canopy is at its loveliest when the white wisteria comes into bloom. You're not in Santiago’s throbbing heart - metro and ‘centro’ are a bus ride away - but there are trendy cafés to walk to, sofas to come home to, and customised tours of the city can be arranged. The Parolin family have thought of everything, and that includes the little sauna by the pool.
