When to go?
Open April – October. Availability is limited during July / August; book well in advance. The first two weeks of May and September 2008 are devoted to Adult Retreats. Discounted rates for spring activity holidays, including wildflower walks, painting workshops, and cookery classes. In summer, Ithaca has a glut of church festivals, with all-night song and dance fuelled by masses of roast meat and wine (Exogi, July 17; Kioni, July 20, Stavros, August 5 & 6; Anogi, August 14; Platrithia, August 15).
