Luna Nueva Lodge
San Ramon, Costa Rica
Kids
Children will love Luna Nueva, which is set up well for families
with older children (ideally age 8+, although all ages are
welcome). The food is simple, but there’s plenty for children
to enjoy. And the animals and activities on the farm are
fascinating for kids, not to mention the full wonder of the
rainforest.
Because of the potential hazards linked with the rainforest, we'd
recommend it for older children, and possibly babies, only - if
your children might roam off on their own, this isn't the safest
place for them.
- Best for: Children (4-12 years), Teenagers (over 12 years)
- Family friendly accommodation: Families of 2 adults, 1 child can book Casa Luna which has 1 queen and 1 single bed in 2 separate rooms. Otherwise, book a family bungalow, sleeping up to 6. All have showers, not baths.
- Babysitting: There's no specific babysitting service, but if you want to go for a jungle trek, the staff are happy to look after babies or youngsters for a short while.
- Baby equipment: NB there are no travel cots!
