Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to maison mk 14 days prior to arrival by credit card.
    For all discounted bookings, additional 30% non-refundable deposit is charged at time of confirmation by maison mk. For all bookings made less than 1 month prior to arrival full pre-payment is required

  • Cancellation Fees:
    For all cancellations, the initial 20% deposit is non-refundable. In addition, for any cancellations up to 14 days prior to arrival: additional charge of 30% will be made to your credit card by maison mk; for any cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival, the remaining balance will be forfeit and retained by maison mk. When booking the Whole Riad, full pre-payment is non-refundable. Cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be retained. For discounted bookings, cancellation policy may vary.

The flight from Europe is less than 3 hours, but Marrakech is a whole new world: fragrant, dusty, exotic. First-time visitors will be bewitched. A simple door on the corner of a cobbled alley leads into the 6-[r:MC071:room] riad, and inside there's another dramatic contrast. Owner and artist Paul Hopkins has transformed the 200-year-old riad into an indulgent modern haven, with lashings of local detail against a backdrop of polished tadelakt and warm spice colours: silk tassles, rich fabrics, an array of lights and lamps and big brass door handles. There's a fabulous terrace on the rooftop, and a restaurant, cinema room and spa on the ground floor. Better yet, there are several seating areas, so even if the riad's full, you'll find a quiet corner. Paul lives in the UK, but there is little his French manager Estelle can't organise: tours, taxis, restaurants, even belly dancing displays. Ideal for couples or a whole house rental with friends.
