    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Mosquito Blue Hotel & Spa in local currency.

  • Cancellation Fees:
    For all cancellations, the initial 15% deposit is non-refundable. In addition, for any cancellations less than 15 - 9 days prior to arrival where up to 3 nights are booked, additional charge of 1 night will be made to credit card by Mosquito Blue Hotel & Spa. For cancellations less than 15 - 9 days prior to arrival where more than 3 nights are booked , additional charge of 3 nights (less deposit) will be made to credit card by Mosquito Blue Hotel & Spa. Less than 24 hours or NO-SHOWS, the full amount of stay less deposit will be charged to credit card. For bookings during Christmas, New Years and August, an additional charge of 3 nights will be charged for any cancellation made within 30 days of arrival date. In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.

Unlike the clean understated lines of nearby minimalist Hotel [h:MX061:Deseo], Mosquito Blue stands out with its winning mix of contemporary European style and typical Mexican colours, created by its Italian owner and designed by the famous Mexican architect, Barraza. The atmosphere is upbeat; a warm-up to Playa’s party scene, encouraged by ambient house music and young, funky staff. The 45-room hotel's most striking aspect, apart from abundant orange and blue, is the use of curves in the overall design. Two softly curvaceous swimming pools are surrounded by tropical plants; the second of which is more secluded, with a delightful circular, palapa-thatched ‘tent’ with a sofa and cushions.
