Naumi
Singapore City, Singapore
Classy design hotel, slap-bang in the epicentre of Singapore City
Singapore is crammed full of luxury hotels, funky shop house
boudoirs and boutique retreats. This particular offering arrived in
2008 and provides a chic yet edgy place to rest the head. Its
super-central location, tucked down little Seah Street opposite the
iconic Raffles, lends itself to the perfect city break.
Converted by design gurus Eco-id from the old Metropole Hotel, even
the façade, with its 10-storey grey steel origami trellis,
oozes style. Inside, each of the 40 luxurious rooms and
suites brims with panache, and comes complete with a Naumi aide or
butler to tend to your every need. Solo female travellers can opt
for one of the 5 suites on the ladies-only floor. The rooftop
infinity pool offers a dynamic view of the city and the Esplanade.
Breakfast is served in the eclectic lounge and dining area; for
other meals you need only step onto Seah Street for a host of
gourmet eateries, as well as top-notch shopping and quirky cultural
attractions. Cosmopolitan and smooth, Singapore beckons.
