    For stays over Christmas Eve and/or New Year's Eve there is an additional dinner charge of INR3200pp for adults and INR1500pp for children.

Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Paradisa Plantation 2 weeks prior to arrival.
    For bookings over the Christmas/New Year period (20 December-10 January) full payment must be made to Paradisa Plantation at least 30 days prior to arrival.
    Payment can be made by Bank Transfer only. Paradisa Plantation does NOT guarantee to be able to accept credit cards so cash must be available to cover incidentals.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    For all cancellations, the initial 20% deposit is non-refundable. In addition, for any cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival an additional charge of 50% is retained by Paradisa Plantation. If the cancellation is made within 1 week of intended arrival, full payment is forfeited. In the event of premature departure full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged. Bookings for the peak season will be charged in full if cancelled within 1 month of arrival.

Owner CP Simon bought the neglected coffee plantation with the intention of building a personal retreat, using a salvaged traditional wooden house with carved windows and doors. Pleased with the result, he thought: ‘Why stop...?’ Now there are 9 cottages, dotted amid organic Robusta coffee plants and banana palms and connected by a network of stone pathways and steps. The round dining room is open to the elements, with a panorama across the valley; the wonderful swimming pool - endearingly built in the shape of Simon’s wife Maria’s foot - shares the same plunging views. There’s a touch of eccentricity about the place, especially when enthusiastic Simon is in residence, but that’s why you come here rather than to a clinical five-star hotel.
