Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    Additional non-refundable deposit of 30% upon confirmation.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to SK Place 6 weeks prior to arrival by credit card.
    Credit cards accepted by SK Place: Mastercard, Visa
  • Cancellation Fees:
    For all cancellations, the initial deposit is non-refundable. In addition, cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival (or more than 45 days during Peak season) will be charged a fee equal to 30% of the cost of the entire stay. Cancellations received between 30 (45 during peak) and 15 days prior to arrival will incur a cost of 50% of the entire stay. Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to arrival incur a fee of 75% the cost of the entire stay. In case of a Non-show, or early departure, the cost of the entire stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.

Set on a clifftop, just outside the peaceful seaside village of Almirida, these gorgeous modern [r:GR069:villas] lie midway between Chania and Rethymno on Crete’s north coast. New in 2009, and still immaculate when we visited a year later, they were designed by Pavlos, an architect, and stylishly furnished by his wife, Katerina. Each has the same ground plan but a different decorative theme, plus lots of thoughtful touches such as film libraries, mini gyms and saunas or a Turkish bath. And each has a lovely private garden with a turquoise-blue pool, fronted by that glorious sea view. Ideal for groups of friends or a discerning family (each villa has 3 kingsize double bedrooms, 2 of which can be converted into twin rooms), SK Place is a chic and peaceful place to unwind. But should you feel restless, western Crete's sandy beaches, unspoiled villages and Venetian towns are all close by.
