- Dining: Dine in the restaurant or bistro, or self-cater in your well-equipped kitchen (welcome hampers can be arranged). Meals can be delivered to the cottages with 24 hours' notice; catering can be organised for parties in the main house
- Communal areas: The main house has a living room, a drawing room, a library, a bar, and a hall with a baby grand piano. Outside are 80 acres of parkland and gardens

- Spa Treatments: Massages can be arranged in the treatment area, housed under the stable block
- Recreational: There's a fitness cellar, tennis courts and a children's playground. DVDs are available to borrow
- Weddings and Celebrations: Tankardstown is ideal for intimate weddings and can accommodate up to 80 guests dining in the house, or more with a marquee on the lawns. The house is licensed for ceremonies
- Meetings/Functions: Conferences, family events and celebrations can be housed here with ease. The dining room can seat up to 70 theatre-style or 20 conference-style. The milking parlour is available for private dining and parties

When to go?
The best time to visit is late spring, summer and autumn, but of course in Ireland you can 'enjoy' all 4 seasons in a day, so don't rely on the weather to have a good time.
