Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    The Grove will charge a 50% non refundable deposit to guarantee the booking. The full balance is payable 8 weeks prior arrival date.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    For Rooms: cancellations less than 72 hours prior to arrival: 100% of total amount unless the room is re-let. For bookings of 2 rooms or more, and/or 3 nights or more, and/or special events and public holidays, cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival: 100% of total amount unless the rooms are re-let. For Cottages: the 50% deposit is non refundable and if cancellation occurs within 8 weeks of arrival the remaining balance will be retained by the The Grove unless the cottage is relet. We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

Save to favouritesPrintMailThe GroveHere's a boutique hotel with a big heart and a little stream. Owners Neil and partner Zöe took a gamble in renovating this 18th century country house. Once derelict and overgrown, today a 12 [r:uk071:bedroom] gem with 4 stone [w:UK071cottages:500:500:cottages]. It's only 15 minutes drive from the pretty seaside town of Tenby and a good base to explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. Once here, you can look out across fields and forests to the rugged Preseli hills. In spring the driveway's a dazzle of bluebells and daffodils. Calm interior design rules the main house but Neil's taste for collecting art adds colour. Expect pictures from Vietnam to Brazil but none of it jars. Candles and crackling fires light up the oak panelled dining room at night, and the [i!places_to_stay_eating.php?hotel_key=1310!food] is sublime. During the day make sure you pop into Narberth. Out in the wilds, who would have thought you'd find this small market town with its cafe culture, boutique shops and tasty Spanish deli. You can see why the owners had to take this place on. It's enchanting.
