“I was frankly bowled over by the Gunton Arms. £150 is top whack for staying in a gastropub but this wasn't an ordinary pub. The setting and the place itself were amazing... acres of land and roaming deer, modern art on the walls. The food top notch (and fairly priced) too. A sort of downside was that it was all a bit Tatler: tweed, Hunter wellies etc. But I guess that's to be expected of a pub that was set up an art dealer as a hobby! The service was a bit forgetful when they were busy but it was always super friendly.”
