Booking Policies
- Payment:
Guarantee deposit of 50% of total is charged in local currency by The Old Surgery upon reservation.
Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to The Old Surgery in local currency 12 weeks prior to arrival. For bookings made less than 12 weeks before the commencement of the rental, the total rental fee is payable upon booking. In addition, a returnable damages deposit is due on or prior to arrival (£15 per person per night, subject to a minimum of £1,000).

All cancellations must be in writing. If the cancellation is made 4 weeks prior to arrival or later the whole rental fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to arrival, a percentage of the rental fee will be refundable and a percentage of the rental fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee depends upon the amount of time still to elapse before the arrival date, as follows: 0-4 weeks 100% of rental fee 4-6 weeks 90% of rental fee 6-8 weeks 80% of rental fee 8-10 weeks 70% of rental fee 10-13 weeks 60% of rental fee 13-16 weeks 80% of deposit 16-20 weeks 60% of deposit 20 weeks and over 40% of deposit.
