The Olive Mill
Near Soller, Mallorca, Spain
Charming 500 year-old finca sleeping up to 18, with pool and spectacular views of the Tramuntana mountains and Soller bay
Set high in the hills overlooking Mallorca's northern port of
Soller, the Olive Mill is an impressive 16th century finca that
commands spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Sleeping up to 17
people, each of its rooms has unique charm and remarkable
features that please one's senses with feelings of style yet
homeliness: 4-poster beds, wall hangings, beamed ceilings, white
washed walls, antique furniture and woodburning stoves. The Swedish
owner is an artist so expect to find her own and other artwork
dotted around the spacious living areas.
Its huge sitting room with original olive press is perfect for
large gatherings. But the farmhouse is easily divided up and can be
self-contained for smaller groups whilst maintaining privacy.
Outside an aviary, guinea pigs, sheep, horses and rabbits maintain
its traditional farmyard appeal - all within beautiful, tranquil
jasmine-scented surroundings.
