• 7 stylish villas that can be taken in whole or part with sea views and set within a 5 acre eco-resort
  
  
• All are a 50-100m walk across the dunes to the fabulous Praia de Rosa beach and freshwater lagoon

• Vida Sol e Mar is the headquarters for the Southern Right Whale Institute with boats and experts on hand to help you see these wonderful creatures
  
  
• Surf school run by competent instructor: the perfect place to learn both on the lagoon and in the surf

When to go?

Peak season is from New Year to end February when it's warm and humid, prices are higher and availability is usually limited. March-May are still warm but drier, quieter and cheaper. For whale-watching come during the cooler months July to October.

Its coastal location ensures that temperatures rarely exceed 85ºF (day time in January); and generally do not fall below 55ºF (nighttime in July). Even in winter (June-September), when rates are lower, day time temperatures usually reach 70ºF.
