Booking Policies

  • Payment:
    Non-refundable guarantee deposit is charged in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP) by i-escape upon reservation.
    Additional deposit of 50% of total to be paid directly to Villa las Estrellas within 7 days by PayPal or Bank Transfer only. Please note that you may incur an additional transaction charge for Paypal or Bank Transfer. Details will be provided in your confirmation.
    Outstanding balance is to be paid directly to Villa las Estrellas upon check-in, in Cash (or in advance by PayPal or Bank Transfer if you prefer).
    Villa las Estrellas does NOT accept credit cards. Payment can be made by PayPal or Bank Transfer only which can incur an additional transaction charge.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    All cancellations must be made by email. In the event of all cancellations, the initial deposit is non-refundable. In addition: 1. Your second deposit will be refunded in full through PayPal (less US$50 administation costs) if you cancel 60 days prior to arrival. 2. 50% of the second deposit will be refunded through PayPal (less US$50 administation costs) if you cancel between 59 and 30 days prior to arrival. 3. Your second deposit will not be refunded if you cancel 15 days or less prior to arrival. 4. If you leave early, you will forfeit the balance payment you paid on check-in. 5. This cancellation policy does not apply to official holidays, and during the following periods no refunds will be paid: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, Easter

Set in the middle of Tulum's broad white-sand stretch, this romantic beach house couldn't be better placed for a relaxing holiday. And although the number of buzzy cabana hotels lining the beach increases every year, Tulum's vibe remains lovely and laid-back. Inside Villa Las E you'll find a fantastic restaurant and 6 stylish, minimalist [r:MX071:rooms] under a traditional Mayan palapa roof. It has the feel of a private house, rather than a cabana, with loads of space and beautiful furnishings throughout - four-poster beds, mosaicked tables, white-wood lanterns. As with everything, if you look a little closer it isn't perfect. Much of your stay here will depend on other guests - if they smoke or talk loudly or have heavy feet, you'll know about it. It's also devoid of mod cons (no phones, TV, limited WiFi), though that's half the point. But it's immaculately clean throughout and with celebrities booking it out for Christmas, we're clearly not the only ones with stars - estrellas - in our eyes.
