Villa Meneghello

Location
Villa Meneghello is on Hvar Island off the Dalmatian coast, a 15-minute walk from Hvar Town. Hvar is connected to the Croatian mainland by regular boat services from Split.

By Air:
Fly to Split (40km away). You can also fly to Dubrovnik (210km away), though the ferry connections are less good. Click on the links below for a list of airlines serving these airports.

From the Airport
Take the airport shuttle bus to the port, then catch a catamaran or ferry to Hvar island (see below). Once on Hvar, someone can meet you at the port to give you a free transfer to the villa, or you can jump in a taxi; make arrangements when you book.

By Sea:
The most convenient port of arrival is Hvar Town, served by a Jadrolinija catamaran from Split each afternoon through summer (a crossing time of 50 minutes). In addition, the Krilo Jet catamaran runs daily between Split and Korèula, stopping at Hvar Town en-route. Alternatively, catch a Jadrolinija ferry from Split to Stari Grad (several times daily; journey time 2 hours), which is a 20-minute bus ride from Hvar Town.

By Car:
Unless you're planning to explore the region, we wouldn't advise hiring a car as it will probably sit unused for most of your stay. However, if you want the freedom of a vehicle, we recommend Holiday Autos, which offers competitive rates and you can collect your car at Split Airport. There are daily car ferries from Drvenik on the mainland to Stari Grad (a 20-minute drive from the villa) run by Jadrolinija. Parking is available at the villa.
