Villas de Trancoso
Trancoso, Bahia, Brazil
Luxury private villa retreats set on a beautiful Bahian beach close to the hippy-chic village of Trancoso
Mix together a cocktail of Bahia's relaxed exotic culture. Blend in
the tranquil seclusion of guest villas set in spacious tropical
gardens by a beautiful beach and you get Villas de Trancoso. Set
just a mile from the hip yet historic village of Trancoso, 500
miles south of Salvador, these 1- and 2-bedroom guest
villas are like homes within an intimate hotel thanks to
American owner Galen Briggs. When first visiting, so seduced was he
by the area, that he never left. Today his attention to detail is
notable everywhere.
Picture elegant native décor and a real sense of personal
service to plan a myriad of trips and
activities.
Lounge by the hotel's white marbled pool or ask the accomplished
chef to cook up something delicious from the kitchen. Its private
terraced beach area lies beneath shady palms where you'll find the
bar, a uniquely crafted wooden gym and waterfall showers. The sun
shines more often in these parts and at full moon a stroll along
the shore is unforgettable.
