Kwazulu Natal
Why go?
The province of Kwazulu Natal is often overlooked on the rushed
agenda of the international tourist. Undoubtedly, Cape Town, the
Winelands, the Garden Route, and Kruger are stunning; but for its
combination of culture, coastline, mountains and game parks,
Kwazulu Natal is not to be missed. South Africa boasts ‘A
World in One Country’ and it can all be found in this
unexploited corner, that offers plenty for both the hardened
adventurer and the 5-star tourist.
Beautiful natural settings, from the coral reefs and picturesque
shoreline of the Indian Ocean, past the historical hills and
valleys of Zululand, to the soaring peaks the Drakensberg.
And there is plenty to occupy the adventurer and the
sun-worshipper: world-renowned game viewing; mile after mile of
beach resorts; challenging mountains; all the summer sports you
could wish for and Durban, the cosmopolitan surfing capital
of South Africa.
