The Fleming
Hong Kong, China
The ultimate in modern business living, in a stylish and welcoming retreat for jet-set dealmakers, close to the Star Ferry
This is a smart, sleek business hotel, perfect for unwinding after
a hectic day of negotiations in the bustling city. Formerly a block
of serviced apartments, it retains the air of an executive refuge.
This heritage explains why, in a city where the high-rise squeeze
is inescapable, the lobby area and suites are generously
proportioned. Ranged over 14 floors, The Fleming - the product of
managing director John Hui’s 15 years of living in hotels, as
Hong Kong’s No.1 tennis player - is spotless and
contemporary, all Italian marble, frosted glass and soft cream
carpets.
The lobby is light and stylish, with high ceilings, a fluorescent
green reception desk and orange abstract oil paintings. Fresh
flower displays take the edge off some of those hard angles;
friendly staff help to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The
innovation of Her Space, the women-only floor, enables females to
relax in a safe environment with plenty of feminine flourishes.
Whether or not the primary purpose for your Hong Kong visit pays
off, a stay here will ensure it’s not a wasted journey.

- Although spacious, Executive suites lack a separate living area
- WiFi not included in the rate
