As the year draws to a close, our hotel experts have shortlisted their most exciting hotels & hideaways for 2023. From a spectacular cave hotel in an ancient Italian city to a life-changing safari adventure in the South African bush, these are places that deserve some recognition for making holidays so special.

This year we’ve introduced two new categories: 1) Best Affordable Escape (under £100 per room), in recognition of widespread cost-of-living concerns; 2) No-fly, as we know that sustainable travel is high on your agenda, as it is on ours. The other 7 categories – eco, beach, city and so on – will be familiar to you, but we think these amazing properties will take your breath away (they certainly did for us).

Now we need you to choose the winners. So cast your votes – it only takes a couple of minutes, and there’s £1,000 in prizes to be won.

The prizes

One winner will win an i-escape voucher worth £500, while five runners-up will each receive a voucher worth £100, which can be used when booking any property on i-escape – including any of the hotels and cottages in our 2023 Hotel Awards shortlist.

So if one of them takes your fancy when voting, bookmark it and – if you win – you can put the voucher towards a stay there next year!

Winners agree to abide by i-escape’s standard terms and conditions as part of this competition.

The following 6 i-escape vouchers will be given away as prizes:

  • 1 x £500 voucher
  • 5 x £100 vouchers

i-escape vouchers must be redeemed within 3 months of being received, although stays can happen any time after that.

These vouchers and any giveaway vouchers may not be amalgamated with other vouchers.

The vouchers can be used when booking any property on www.i-escape.com

For stays with a value greater than the voucher in question, the balance will be payable upon booking.

For stays with a value less than the voucher in question, a balance voucher will be issued for the difference.

This promotion is only open to entrants in the UK aged over 18, excluding employees of i-escape and its partner hotels.

The competition closes at midnight on 10th December 2022.
