If you watched any television last year, you have probably heard of Bridgerton, or even binged the whole series in a few days (as some of us did!). And if you haven’t, let us sum it up for you: Regency-era England, love, family, beautiful costumes and sets, and even more beautiful filming locations. To celebrate the arrival of Bridgerton season 2, we have compiled a list of the most beautiful English hotels and houses, where you too can live it up like the Bridgertons.

The Bird, Bath

If you want to throw yourself headfirst into the Bridgerton fandom, start at The Bird in Bath. During your stay at this flamboyant hotel, you can enjoy a 2-hour specialised tour of Bath’s beautiful, distinctive golden-coloured stone buildings, period lampposts, stone-paved streets and 18th-century British architecture, which provided the backdrop for most of the first season of the Bridgerton series.

Hazlitt’s, London

If you are planning on stopping in London for a few days on your travels towards the countryside, or you just fancy a plush break in the city, Hazlitt’s is the perfect place to stay. Named after the renowned essayist (a former resident here), this quirky hotel is decorated with original 18th-century furnishings, such as rugs, antique beds, and richly painted walls hung with original artworks. But don’t worry, you won’t have to live completely in the past: bustling modern London is just at your doorstep!

No. 15 by GuestHouse, Bath

Consider staying in this beautiful hotel sitting on one of Bath’s grandest avenues, between the iconic Pulteney Bridge and the gorgeous Holburne Museum – which doubles as Lady Danbury’s home in the Bridgerton series. In reality, the handsome Georgian townhouses are a beautiful boutique escape, complete with a pantry filled with treats for guests and a wonderful cosy spa.

Durslade Farmhouse, Somerset

If you are planning a getaway for a whole bunch of Bridgerton enthusiasts, look no further than Durslade Farmhouse. This truly unique rental is set in the grounds of a famous contemporary art gallery, and its six spacious rooms feature dazzling art installations. As an i-escape guest, you will be treated to a freshly baked afternoon tea on arrival. Whilst it doesn’t showcase typical Regency-era interiors, we think the Bridgertons would adore the artsy vibe here. Plus, it’s located near Bath, so you can still visit some iconic Bridgerton filming locations.

Batty Langley’s, London

Batty Langley’s reminds me of the famous inn scene from the first season of Bridgerton, where Simon confesses his burning love to Daphne. Set in a historic quarter of London, with bars, restaurants, markets, boutiques and galleries on its doorstep, it’s the perfect base for experiencing London’s most vibrant district. In the hotel, you can enjoy canopy beds, oil paintings, breakfast in the library and Georgian-style interiors.

Blenheim Cottage, Oxfordshire

Set at the end of a magical forest path, in the grounds of majestic Blenheim Palace (a building so grand it belongs in the Bridgerton series), this cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. It was once used to guard the back entrance to the palace, so Blenheim’s stunning, sprawling gardens are right outside. Oxford and its handsome spires are also nearby, or just stay in and enjoy the cottage garden and its babbling brook.
