Little Bank, near Ilminster, Somerset

Part of the beautiful 3,000-acre Dillington Estate, Little Bank is the latest arrival to join their collection of six picture-perfect self-catering cottages. With four ensuite double/twin bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen/diner, and a large outside space with hot tub and garden, it’s exactly the spot to get together with friends and family. Both inside and out lend themselves to socialising (and boozing!), with plenty of seating for all, a barbecue for warm days and a wood burner for chilly ones.

A short hop over the border to Devon’s beautiful Axe Valley will take you to Lyme Bay Winery, where they produce a range of award-winning English wines as well as a selection of spirits, liqueurs and cider. During your two-hour guided tasting at the Cellar Door, an expert will talk you through each tipple, explaining how it’s made and where the grapes are sourced, and you’ll sample English wines (white, rosé, red, sparkling), mead and spirits (rum or gin).

A hamper of still and sparkling bottles will be awaiting your arrival at Little Bank, for you to enjoy at the cottage or take home for another time.

Terms & conditions

• This promotion runs until 1 December 2023.
• The prize includes:
  • A two-night stay for up to 8 guests staying in 4 double/twin rooms at Little Bank on the Dillington Estate, near Ilminster, Somerset.
    • The stay can be between 5 January 2024 – 15 December 2024, excluding Bank Holiday weekends, May half term (25 May – 1 June), July & August, subject to availability.
    • Additional nights may be added by arrangement at the cost of the prize winner.
    • A stay during the excluded dates may be possible by arrangement at a supplementary cost to the prize winner.
    • The booking must be made within 3 months of being notified of winning. Dates cannot be changed after this time.
  • A guided tasting at Lyme Bay Winery‘s Cellar Door in Shute, Axminster, Devon for up to 8 people, and a hamper of their still & sparkling English wines.
    • The tasting must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance, preferably at the time of booking the stay at Little Bank.
  • One runner-up prize: a case of 6 bottles of English wine from Lyme Bay Winery, delivered to any UK address.
• The winner and runner-up will be selected at random and contacted shortly after 2 December 2023. We will contact the winner and runner-up from either an @i-escape.com email address or via our social media accounts – @iescapehotels on Instagram / @iescape.com on Facebook. If the winner or runner-up does not acknowledge receipt within 2 weeks, the prize will be offered to other winners. i-escape will not be held responsible for non-delivery of emails or messages on social media.
