By boat: reach Malta by catching Virtu Ferries catamaran from Sicily, a 1.5-hour journey.
From Malta to Gozo: from the airport you can take an express bus or hire a car to reach Cirkewwa ferry port (45-minutes). The boat ride to Gozo's Mgarr port takes 25 minutes; from here you can make use of taxis or buses.
